The challenge for this Matthews Beach kitchen update was to maximize space within the existing footprint. We gave them all the space and functionality they desired by removing a wall and creating a large island that bridges the kitchen and dining room. Building on the client’s love of color and texture, we layered a bold slab, textured brick tiles, strong color, and lively wallpaper to bring even more character and interest into the house.
